Nashville-based roots band 4-T.R.A.K. (Bob Tigert, Harry Robinson, Jim Alderman and Reno Kling) filmed a video for "Way Down Waycross Way," written by Marc Rossi and Jeff Walter. Now Bob's in a different band called Bob's Your Uncle, but we still dig the video.
Carol Smith and Jeff Walter were commissioned by the National Health Care for the Homeless Council to write a song conveying the idea that, in working with disadvantaged populations, we don't always know what's best for the other person, and sometimes the best thing we can do is simply listen. Everybody has a story to tell, and we can all learn from one another. The result was the song "Whole Lot Like Home." NHCHC produced a moving video for the song, which you can see here.
