Hello, I'm Jeff Walter, founder of Jack and Jenny Music founder. Just a little bit about me: I'm a lifelong word freak and music fanatic who loves a great story ... especially when it's accompanied by a killer tune. I've worn a lot of hats over the years (and still wear many of them): songwriter, publisher, songplugger, author, journalist, freelance writer, editor — most of them somehow involving the "smithing" of words.

I was born in West Virginia but spent most of my first two decades of life in Kentucky (Go Wildcats!). I began exploring Nashville in the early '90s, became a part-time resident a few years later and finally made the full-time move in 1998. I started Jack and Jenny Music the next year and have steadily expanded the roster of writers represented.

About the company name: Jack and Jenny Walter are the fine folks who brought me into this world, did their level best to raise me up right, and encouraged me to follow my dreams (though they surely had no idea my dreams would lead me in such unpredictable directions). I love them like crazy and can state indisputably that, without them, I would not be here.
